Part 1, Gen. Stilwell takes command of the 10th Army on Okinawa. Army units advance against the Japanese Adm. Nimitz and Gen. MacArthur confer. B-29 bombers take off and bomb Japan. Navy fighter planes crash land on aircraft carriers. Part 2, Japanese Kamikaze planes attack U.S. warships off the Okinawa coast. Explains how Japanese Kamikaze pilots are trained and describes a suicide plane. The carrier Bunker Hill is damaged by Kamikaze attacks and her dead are buried at sea.
